SCELC Libraries on Communicating ValueFour SCELC libraries will convene in a panel to address the topic of communicating value based on non-"business metrics". Expect a lively and comprehensive conversation as they share examples from their own institutions and discuss:
- How their library is defining "value"
- How the recent social and environmental crises (i.e., COVID-19, BLM, fires) impacted how their library demonstrates value
- Practical approaches or strategies they use to communicate the value of their library
- And how this changes by role type (librarian vs. library admin)
- Or by audience type (Provost vs. faculty vs. student)?
